Elaine Dorothy Kiefer WEST LIBERTY, Iowa--Elaine Dorothy Kiefer, 88, died on Tuesday, February 14, 2012, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City. The Henderson-Barker Funeral Home in West Liberty is in charge of arrangements. There will be no services. Elaine was born on January 28, 1924, in Tipton, the daughter of William and Alma Werner Schwitzer. On October 16, 1959, she was united in marriage to Ronald Kiefer in Wayne, Nebraska. Survivors include her husband, Ronald Kiefer of West Liberty; and a brother, Werner Schwitzer of Minnetonka, Minnesota. She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters; and three brothers.
