IRVING 'BUD' REXROTH MUSCATINE, Iowa - Irving 'Bud' Rexroth, 83, of Muscatine, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 14, 2012, at Carrington Place with his loving family by his side. Funeral Service will be 11 a.m. on Friday, February 17, 2012, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Pastor Jerry Phillips of Bloomington Muscatine Friends Church will officiate the service. Casket bearers will be Derek Rexroth, Cortney Rexroth, Blaine Rexroth, Tyler Ingstad, Cory Burke, Rick Rexroth, and Kim Ingstad. Burial will take place in Greenwood Cemetery with Military Rites by the V.F.W. Post 1565. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. on Friday, February 17, 2012, at the funeral home. Memorials may be left to American Heart Association or to the Bloomington Muscatine Friends Church. 'Bud' was born on November 27, 1928, in Muscatine County, the son of Harry and Rose Koeppen Rexroth. Her married Edna Herlein on August 13, 1953, at the Bloomington Friends Church. He served four years in the US Navy. He was a farmer, worked for R.E.C., and retired from Hon Industries after 26 years where he worked as a project engineer. nd the American Legion. He attended Bloomington Muscatine Friends Church. 'Bud' enjoyed woodworking, yard work, and volunteer work. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by his beloved wife, Edna Rexroth of Muscatine; one son, Rick Rexroth and wife, Sandy, of Muscatine; one daughter, Vicki Ingstad and husband, Kim, of Minden, Nevada; six grandchildren, Derek (Nancy), Cortney (Jess), and Blaine Rexroth, Mindy Burke (Cory), and Tyler and Kalin Ingstad; five great-grandchildren, Leah, Landon, and Liam Burke, Peyton Rexroth, and Carsen Rexroth; and one sister, Shirley Garnes of Davenport. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Violette Mittman; and one brother, Raymond Rexroth.
