Eugene G. Peters, of White Lake, died Saturday, February 11, 2012 at the Aspirus Comfort Care & Hospice House in Wausau. He was 70 years old. He was born on December 8, 1941 in Wauwatosa, a son of the late Gervais and Florence (Benjamin) Peters. He married Dianna Lynn on December 16, 1972 in Waukegan, IL. She survives. He served in the United States Air Force from February 3, 1959 to December 14, 1962. He enjoyed dirt track racing with family and friends. He was an avid NASCAR, Green Bay Packer, Milwaukee Bucks & Milwaukee Brewers fan. He enjoyed putting together jigsaw puzzles and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a member of the White Lake Booster Club and the Wolf River Valley Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9438, White Lake. In addition to his wife survivors include three daughters, Liane (fiancé Rick Berry) Wurzer, Wausau, Jessie (Dan) Henkelman, White Lake and Dawn (Christopher) Smith, Wausau; four sons, Tony (Jackie) Peters, Terry Peters, Eugene (Amy) Peters and Jon Peters all of White Lake; ten grandchildren, Kelly and Emily Wurzer, Bryan Peters, Danielle Peters, Alison and Brice Peters, Zackorie, Joyce and Landen Henkelman, and Jamison Smith; a brother, ...[more]

rry (Joy) Peters, West Bend; a sister, Elaine (Loyd) Wagner, Milwaukee; and nieces and nephews, Scott(Brenda), Samantha(Steve), Cindy(Bill), Kris(Tom), Cheryl(Bruce), Russell(Sue), Connie(Greg), Kathy(Tim), Mike(Raemi), Tim, Judy, Chuck, Sandy(Randy), Kim(Mike), Len, Tammy, Amy(Curt), Keith, David, Lisa, Donna (Nick) and Laura. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Lois Robison and Arleen DeRosia; and a brother, James Peters. A funeral service will be held on Friday at 1 p.m. at the Bradley Funeral Home with Pastor Ward Rehbein officiating. Burial will take place in Elton Cemetery where White Lake veterans will conduct military rites. Visitation will be 4 - 8 p.m. on Thursday and 12 - 1 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
