GORDON, CHARLESHon. Charles Gordon of Encino CA passed away on Jan.30, 2009 surrounded by his loving family. Born in BrooklynNew York, he graduated from City College and earned a law degree from UCLA. After a career as an attorney, he served as a Worker's Comp. Judge for over 20 years.Judge Gordon risked his life by attacking and disarming a gunman in his courtroom. In recognition of this outstanding act of heroism, Gordon received several medals for his courage and heroic actions.This display of selflessness and courage is typical of his everyday behavior and he shall forever remain our hero.He is survived by his loving wife, Lori Gordon; his children: JoshGordon, Hallie Gordon, Lisa Esses, Keith Kleinman and Jim Kleinman and seven grandchildren.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Interstitial Lung Disease Center at the UCLA.[more]
